Hey all,
I'm on my 3rd grow so I have a bit of experience and generally I have good results as you can see from the pictures of my Northern Light. I've had Super Critical, Amnesia Haze and others all grow well with super buds.
OG Kush has been a challenge for me. On my first batch I couldn't even get the seeds to pop, second time only one of three popped and it then didn't root. Third time lucky I bought 6 seeds and three popped and rooted and they've been in my grow room since mid August. I planted them in the starter pots on 29th July, they took AGES to root and it's now 24 Sep.
I've never seen such a weird collection of many small popcorn bud sites before at this stage. Is this normal for this strain?
Note: I left my partner in charge of watering for 3 days and he'd added too much PH down on day one then left them without water for 2 days. Q2...

Do I need to find a new partner? ;-)

"Those small popcorn bud sights can turn into nice solid strawberry size buds if you can get the light to them" was spot on Cap Stone and there were tons of the wee devils come harvest. Filled two jars from three plants with quality buds only, very happy with this auto and it's a great smoke too, very head high so don't smoke before bed unless sleeping isn't on the agenda. Note that the jars were full last week after harvest. :/
.
Hi, that looks pretty normal to me. I think it just depends on the strain, I have a Gelato that throws out side buds like crazy as well as a Purple Haze with just one main cola and not much else.
Get rid of any lower bud sights that are not getting the light and remove a few top fan leaves if they are blocking the light from potential bud sights. Those small popcorn bud sights can turn into nice solid strawberry size buds if you can get the light to them.
And a one time hic-up with the feed should not cause any permanent harm. How low do you think the PH went? Your girls still look nice and healthy.
