Before I start the dry, I trim off any leaf with a visible stem. After the buds are completely dry, I then trim off all the sugar leaf which comes off real easy when dry.
In the middle of winter when the humidity is really low, I will leave all the leaves on during the dry to help slow it down.
I prefer a dry trim. I personally just feel it's easier than when wet. It totally comes down to personal preference.
