Hey guys, I’ve been doing a lot of research before my first grow, with the space i have I want to use a 4x4 tent, with about 600w of light, I think I want to use leds. I only want to grow 2 plants as I want some extra space in my grow tent, is this going to work okay? And are there any tips and information anyone can give me before starting my first grow?

Here is a list of the equipment I am planning on using:

Nutrients: Fox Farm Trio https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C0PEBES/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?smid=A83LZ4XZH4503&psc=1 (Is it worth it to add more minerals other than this into my water for my first run?)
Medium: Fox Farm Ocean Forest Potting Soil https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MFMKKNN/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1CO0LZ0FL8O6H&psc=1
Ventilation: I've done a little research but I'm not really sure what to buy
I'm planning on germinating in a solo cup, then I'll transplant into a 1 gallon pot, then into a 5 gallon. I will use Wildroot organic mycorrhiza, while transplanting. I'm also planning on using seeds from a trusted seller.
If there's anything wrong that doesn't fit here, please let me know. Also any other information that would be helpful I would be happy to provide.
Right on those PAR numbers. The premade soil may be easier for you since you are new. Creating your own mix can be very time consuming. When you purchase soil, make sure you get potting soil and not Top soil. Most synthetic nutrient lines come in 2 or 3 bottles. Here are a few options for you: FoxFarm Trio - http://amzn.to/2px8nok

Nutrients is one area where I’m pretty foggy on, I understand you’re supposed to dilute the nutrients to about to about a quarter strength and go from there, but I don’t know what to look for in nutrients or what specific kinds to buy
I am planning on using a soil based medium, but I am a little confused as to if I should buy premade soil or mix up some perlite and other minerals like I’ve seen some people doing. I think I understand par as I have Been reading a lot, 200-400 for seedlings, 400-600 for veg, and 600-900 for flower right? And Ive been looking at a lot of different leds and par maps, but it’s a lot to look at
Hi Willow, Yes, two plants will be fine in a 4x4 grow space. You will have plenty of space to work with the plants in there. Do you know what growing medium you will grow the plants in? Also, what nutrients will you be using? 600w is the energy consumption of the grow light. PAR is one area to learn about prior to getting your grow light. I recently wrote this article which should definitely help you there: https://www.mrgrowit.com/single-post/2019/03/05/LED-Grow-Light-Buyers-Guide-2019-Indoor-Cannabis-Gardening
