This is my first time growing, soil is roots organic, and im using advanced Nutrience as my food souce. Light source is a chilledLed light 500w. Got the blue lab ph pen for the water, planted seeds 13 days ago. I have a few questions since this is my first grow
two of my plants have a yellowing not sure what it is
what are some of the leaves curling?
are these plants moving slow for how long the have been in soil for?
I have not used the Roots Organic soil myself but I think that is a pretty rich soil. If you are also adding nutrients, that may be too much for your girls at this stage.
An incorrect PH or lack of Calcium/Magnesium could also cause spots like that.
The only thing I would be feeding these girls for a while is PH'd water (in the 6.5-7 range) with CalMag.
The one other thing that might cause leaf curling like that is if the light is too close.
I'm not 100% certain about any of this and I am just throwing out some possibilities for you to consider.
Good luck!
Hi, those yellowing leaves on the first plant are called sucker leaves or cotyledons. They just store the energy to get things going then die off so you can ignore those.
I can't really see the spots or leaf curling well enough on the second plant, a close up photo might show the problem better. Could it be dried water spots maybe? Leaf curling could be from the light being too close.
I think for 13 days they look pretty good and you are in the ball park.
