I posted a picture the other day of a beautiful purple flower. That is the mother of these two clones I tried growing in DWC. This is day 22 of flower.
This is only my 2nd DWC grow. I'm still learning. But the pros so far are very rapid growth. It's like putting your plants on steroids. Cons are using alot more nutrients, more equipment, using more electricity. It's more labor intensive, you have to defoliate weekly or it will get away from you. Also you have to worry about more factors such as keeping your resevoir cool so root rot doesnt develop, keeping your reservoir ph'd twice a day, cleaning and swapping your reservoir weekly. When things go bad in DWC the go bad so fast it's hard to recover from. Soil is much more forgiving of mistakes.
That mother plant in soil I vegged for 3 months and have fed probably half the nutrients. Those clones in DWC are 6 weeks old and almost the same height.
Day 28 of flower. Not bad. Roots have looked healthier. Pretty sure I need a stronger air pump in addition to an air stone.
