I bought a lux meter and I was hoping to use this site to convert but I don't know what spectrum I should use for my light (SF4000).
On the spider farmer website, it says my light is full spectrum and has 3000Knm and 5000Knm. Do I pick the "High CRI LED 4000K" because it's in the middle?
I realize that LUX to PAR isn't very accurate, I just want something kinda close.
So I did a test based on the PAR readings @Mr. Grow It got on his video where he tests the SF4000 in a 4x4 tent. In the center of the tent, he got 900 PAR at 24". I did the same (5x5 tent) with my lux meter and got 53000lx.
It works out to roughly x0.017
However, I know this info isn't really useful since the tent size isn't the same but at least it may be closer to the ballpark I'm looking for... i don't know.
Spider Farmer lights claims to have 2.9 umol/J .... So to get close you can use, Lux X 2.9 = Par.
