Good afternoon, I have a major question if you by chance have some time to answer. I am currently have a major issue with humidity that I have not encountered while growing. This is my 1st grow but as of yesterday my humidity is constantly staying dry I found it as low/dry as 17% on today. I ordered a humidifier but I am curious as to why all of a sudden I cant control my humidity. Temp has increased to around 84-86 degrees and humidity is playing around 29-35. I have a 48x48x80 tent, a ts2000w light that I lowered the wattage and now I just cant seem to figure why my humidity is so off. I have been running a pretty comfortable environment until yesterday. Temps have been between 78-84 and humidity at 40-55%. Can someone please advise?

How old are the plants? As the mediums dry out, the transpiration process slows down - meaning they are releasing less water vapor into the air. Once you water again you'll notice a humidity spike. More info on transpiration: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transpiration
