You want to measure the intensity of the light. This is generally expressed as PPDF. Chris has a great video on intermediate lighting that explains it. You want to be around 400 to 600 in veg and up to 1000 in flower.
Without getting past my understanding of physics which is admittedly limited for an old stoner. You want Blue spectrum (range: 400-500nm) for veg and Red (range: 620-780nm) for flower. You have lots of options when you look at the entire spectrum UV, FarRed, etc.. What I suspect you might be asking is about blurple lights in which case use them if you have them but normal LEDs will be more efficient.
Does the grow light listing show a PAR chart? That will help determine what light distance you should run for the different stages of growth.
An what does the app explain exactly ?
Oh okay sweet! Well it’s definitely not big enough for the flower stage but thank you this helps! :)
Yes you’re right, my mistake on the terminology! I have a blurple light one three seedlings, that will be enough until veg stage correct ?
