Thats an excellent question and depending who you ask, you will most likely get a variety of answers but,There are people who will chop their plant at ground level and then plant the next seed right next to the stump of the old one. When the new plant spreads roots, it will follow and absorb the same root paths as before, which makes things easier for the plant. Personally, I will chop at ground level and remove the heart of the old root ball, otherwise I leave all the old root matter. It will break down and release its nutrients back to the soil. Hope this helps, Good Growing!
ok, sounds good chris
Some growers will dig down and remove the stump. Then they reamend the medium then plant seeds.
excellent advice, this is my first time attempting a grow and will be utilizing the dirt again, So very helpful gregthe357!
