First time grower here.
I have a 4x4 tent with the ROI-E680 light. Growing in Riot Root, is it okay for me to dim the Light down to 40% abs and put the light at 1’-1.5’ above the seedlings? or do I need to buy a T5 light system for the seedlings?

No, I tried to look online for videos of the controller with my light and couldn’t find anything.. is it worth the money or should I just stick with a digital Timer
By the way, did you get the digital controller for your light also?
Hey I have the same light but in a 5x5. I have never put mine closer than 12-18 inches away. That light is an absolute monster. Put it at 12-24 inches away and put on 80%. You should be good. Just watch for any bleaching to make sure thats not too much.
