I have 2 large (7 ft x7 ft) Gelato plants just starting week 1 of flowering that have been in 25 gallon fabric pots since May (August 20 today). The top layer of soil is basically impenetrable with your finger as the feeder roots have completely grown over the top layer. They look overall healthy but I am pulling off ~5 yellowing leaves per day. I dont want to transplant because I think it would be logistically difficult and they are already in flower. I am watering every day as they dry up by the end of the day. I know it can be difficult without pictures, but, any sense as to whether these plants are getting root bound? Is that possible in a fabric pot?

i filled the wheelbarrow with soil and cut away the pot. Not perfect but hopefully it’ll help. I also drilled holes in the bottom of the wheelbarrow for drainage
