We would need a lot more information on this one. You're flushing due to problems? How old are the plants and what size grow pots are they in? Are you in soil or coco? Got a pic?
@moserg1170 Ok, I'm not sure I fully understand your question but I'll try to answer. If you're feeding, pour the nutrient solution slowly onto the medium and eventually you'll see some of it come out of the bottom of the grow pot. Assuming you're growing with bottled nutrients, most growers do about 10-20% runoff. Since salts can buildup in the medium, dispose that runoff. Disposing the runoff helps remove those salts and prevents nutrient lockout. Same thing if you're just giving water. The amount of nutrients in the medium will vary and won't always "flush out" evenly when putting water through it so it's hard for me to tell you 1700 down to 500 is normal (or not normal).
