I just looking for some advice on planting my first autoflower seed. Should I start in a solo cup or should I go straight into the final 5 gallon pot. Im really concerned about managing the volume of watering from seed in such a big pot. Would it stress the auto terribly if I start in a solo cup which I am more familiar with. Any help would be appreciated ... thank you.

I run my autos in 5 gallon pots from beginning to end. When they first sprout I will water them with a turkey baster and basically make a ring of water about an inch or two from the stem. That helps encourage the roots to grow towards the water and not be lazy and stay centered in such a big container.
Either way will work. If you start in a small cup and transplant up, there is risk for transplant shock which can stunt the growth of the plant. Because of that, many growers will plant straight into a large container such as a 3 or 5-gal grow pot. If you do decide to start in a solo cup, I highly recommend using mycorrhizae when transplanting. That will greatly reduce the chances of transplant shock.
I would plant in final pot. Keep in mind that you can stress the auto by transplanting them. I would use a spray bottle to avoid from over watering.
