Should I purchase (2) 300w lights for better “coverage area” rather than (1) 600w light?

I just purchased a 4x4 tent. When researching, I find the most 600w LED lights that’s recommended only covers 3x3 area in flowering stage. If I purchased (2) 300w LED and spread them out for more coverage, would that help? Or should I purchase (2) 600w lights? And would i need a stronger intake fan to cool the tent due to the extra light unit?

I persoanlly like to run 2 lights in a 4x4 instead of one for the exact reason you mention - better coverage. You also have flexibility to have one light higher than the other in case some of your plants are taller than others. A 6" inline fan should be enough. If you can tell us which one you have then we can advise better. Also let us know if you're using a carbon filter.

a 4" fan should be more than enough to do the job. You can bump it to a 6" depending on the brand. I have a powerful 4" and it's plenty.

What light's are you currently looking at?

I was going to go with a 6” fan to be on the safe side. I‘m currently looking at the Vivosun 600w LED. I want to grow at least 4 plants at a time. I wasn’t sure if I should get two 300w Vivosun lights instead so that I could move the lights to get a better coverage are.
