I am running a 4x4 tent. I have a 6” ac infinity vent fan with a charcoal filter. Set up is in the basement but I don’t have venting out of the window. it Is an unfinished basement with no insulation on the ceiling but the walls are insulated. I was wondering if I framed and sheet rocked a room and put an exhaust fan out the window would that stop the smell in the rest of the house.

Brand new filter. Im just curious if I build a room to have the tent in. Would that help fight the smell tracking through the house. There would be no HVAC vents in the room.
If you are having issues with smell consider changing your filter. Also, if your minimum fan speed isn't set to maintain negative pressure then that's your real issue.
To answer your question, yes. Simply exhausting outside will remove the smell from your house but I'd scrub the funk and be a good neighbor personally.
You can also get something like an enviroclenz and just put it by the tent.
