@Mr. Grow It so I'm about 6 days in now and they seem to be stretching to the top of the dome. I have lowered the light now to see if this helps. One question when would I want to start adding my nutes? I put great white in with the water that soaked my rockwool cubes and the roots are doing well I think but the leafs are not as perky as i would like 1 is pointing up the other 1 is dropping down. My pH is at 5.8 and my ppm is 345 as its only water that had to be ph down.
@tommy2step So they are in rockwool cubes? Have they rooted yet? What will they be transplanted into after rooting? I'd like to know that info before suggesting on when to add nutes.
My dome usually fluctuates 70-80 on the humidity. Time in the dome usually isn't very long. I use solo cups to start so I usually move up to #3 pots when the leaves have reached past the edges of cup. I don't go by amount of nodes, by time you hit 4-5 nodes the plant could be root bound, even thought a little root bound isn't bad. Everyone's environment is different and plants don't grow exact to each other, some stuff will be trial and error as horrible as that sounds.
I see my last lot didn't last long so I learnt a from a few mistakes there. I have just checked my ph and the ppm levels of my run of and it seems to have gone up to 700 and the ph has gone over 7 any idea why that is?
@tommy2step Humidity should be around 80-85%, wait until at least the 2nd node has grown before attempting to transplant. Some growers, myself included wait until the 4th node to reassure that there is a stable root structure. 👍
@SinnerSpread and when do you start adding your nutrients? It's been 2 days and they have there tap roots now. I have only large rockwool cubes I think there around 3" I'm diameter they hold alot of water. I was told to water once a day but that's way to much I think
I like roughly 65-90% RH for seedlings. I take the dome off 7-10 days or so.
