For those of you struggling with watering, or for those of us who crop steer, I thought I would share this.
Vegetronix has a reasonable ($100) soil moisture meter. I've had the same one now for about a year and haven't had any problems. This was by far the cheapest I've seen and I've been pretty happy with it. Took me several attempts to find something that worked so I thought I'd share. Cheers!
