I have been using a sous vide technique to transfer THC from plant shake into virgin olive oil (ultralight taste). This set up uses a thermostatically controlled heating element and circulating fan to effect a water bath at 208 degrees F. Half oz of quality trimmings/popcorn buds, ground coursely in a coffee grinder added to 5/8 cups of oil in a Mason jar.
Get the bath up to temp and place the jar in the pot. Water will need to be added over the two hour process. After that time, strain the pulp and oil into a bowl through a cheesecloth and apply your favorite bakery recipe. I just do brownies….it’s a three hour project start to finish and judging by reaction to consumption, the THC transfer is very effective.
