Hey all. I'm more than halfway through my first grow and are currently dealing with a bit of a problem. My grow tent is in an unheated concrete block room (Room temp is very stable) but within the tent, I'm having a hard time keeping the temps below 80f, the humidity below 70%. As such, I've taken to opening a couple of the air intakes and leaving the door 90% zipped. This, I believe, is contributing to the increasingly noticeable, odor while hopefully, keeping the temp/humidity somewhat lower! If I zip it up and close all the intakes, the temp/humidity will only get worse.
As the 3 girls have gotten bigger, the humidity seems to go up more than before, so I do need to play with setting on the humidifier but I think I'd still have temp issues.
Are there options to lower the temp/smell? I likely WILL be getting a larger tent next grow...should I just get a bigger/more CFM charcoal filter? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

You mention you run a humidifier, what type of water do you put in it? Just wondering if you are putting tap water in there then you may see mineral buildup on the carbon filter sock which will restrict air flow. If that's not an issue, a 6" ventilation setup would help exhaust more of that hot air out of the environment. What is the RH in your lung room?
