I am currently in my first grow waiting to harvest my two StarDawg plants that are just over 9 weeks of flower which i got off of https://www.marijuana-seeds.nl they call for 7-8 weeks of flowering before harvest however the trichomes on my plants are still very clear. I am growing in fox farm ocean forest soil with a mars hydro LED. For the past week they have been given straight PH water with a check on the trichomes using a pocket micros every other day. On average is it normal for the flowering to take longer than the genetics say they should or should I go ahead and harvest even with the trachomas still appearing clear?

Just seeing this post, my 2 Dawgs from MSNL are in week 8- 1 looks great and the other is behind. I am giving it until Wednesday to see if other catches up, but will probably take 1 and have to leave the other for a bit longer-
On the left are great color, tighter buds, had ambers beginning end of week 7...on the left, looser/airy buds, pistils clearer, just not same rate of development- It's one thing if it's 7-10 days of being close- but I am afraid I am going to have to let this other one stay under the light a week or two- or more. Yikes.
I saw you said you gave straight water the last 2 weeks? Was any of that to runoff? or just like you regularly watered?
I had this issue a bit my last grow, but my pH was wonky and I attributed it to that- potency wasn't there either.
saw your other post about the chop - congrats! looks awesome Growmie!
Got a pic so we can see what you’re talking about?
I have never had a grow flower as fast as the seed supplier says. Auto, Photo doesn't mater, it always seems to go 1-2 weeks longer.
I always suspected that the range they give is for the earliest possible harvest. But if you want the good stuff ya gotta let it go longer ;o)
Are you counting from the first day you flipped, or the first sight of flower?
Wait for the amber is my suggestion.
