I wanted to create more usable vertical grow space in my SF 2x4 grow tent by adding an additional horizontal top support pole and relocating the exhaust fan/filter assembly to the back side of the tent. Using a 48” x 3/4“ wooden dowel (trimmed to fit), wrapping the ends in friction tape and securing it to the tent frame with plastic wire ties, the desired result was realized easily and cheaply.
