Hey! I’m new to growing (This is my third small batch) earlier in the veg stage
I went through nitrogen toxicity. and I’ve corrected that for the most part but…. i think I let these plants go too tall and grow with out topping. What should I do before sending these puppies into Flower. I’m 6 weeks into the grow. I’m about to lollipop. What’s some good advice to do before I switch my light to 12/12?

Oh and pre-flowering I usually lollipop (selective bud site removal) and I schwazze some plants. Whatever type of work you do to the plant just make sure you give it time to recover, usually 48 hours does the trick. This includes transplanting. Make sure if you are using dry amendments to mix them in or top dress at this point right at the flip. Also if using a dimmer (I usually veg at 50-60% power) start increasing your light slowly as you transition.

If you would like to slow the vertical growth you can use various techniques. Personally I use LST throughout but you can also super-crop the mains as well as topping. If you need more guidance, let me know. If you need personal and rapid response then hit me on IG.

I heard top at the 5th node...but I am a total new grower. I also heard to trim fan leaves once fan leaves above it establish.
