it should be fine at this stage of growth? (day8 is not automatic and i don't add co2 myself).

I remember once reading that it helps more than heat but now i found in research 4/4 lights but i'm sure i found something else in 2009-2010.

That references what I would refer to as medium light crops. Cannabis is considered a high light crop. General rule of thumb for high light crops is 40 DLI without co2 up to 60-65 when enriched, though rate of return is not equivalent when enriching. Not saying you have to run anything other than what works for you. Plants will still grow fine at that, it just isn't optimum. Only reason I even brought it up is because you asked why people don't talk about it.

That's pretty accurate for seedlings though. You are correct. Co2 enrichment would do very little for seedlings anyway. Apparently rooted clones can handle 40 DLI straight out the gate though, which I find quite interesting.

No I run led lights. Your English is fine. Yes it would be harder on the ballast for HID to run anything other than a standard lighting cycle because there is a huge surge every time the blast has to "jump start" the light. Leds don't suffer from the same warming up procedure. I use it sometimes in summer to help keep temperatures down because it is already warm where I grow.
