I've researched this and cannot find an answer. They say you ventilate your grow room to exchange all the air within 3 minutes but it's not clearI how often you do that. Do you run your exhaust fan for 3 minutes on and then 3 minutes off . I can't find any info that says how often to run your ventilation fan for 3 minutes . I currently have it on for 3 minutes on and then off for 7 minutes during the whole light cycle. I used to just ventilate every 15 minutes. I have a climate control that will just turn on the fans when the temperature or humidity rises but that doesn't account for the fact you need more air coming in even if the temperature and humidity is perfect because you need to exchange the CO2 so I rely on the sequential timer instead.

Exchanging the air in your grow space every 1-5 minutes is a general rule. Basically, you just need to supply enough CO2 for the plants. If you have a few small seedlings, then they don't need the air exchanged anywhere near as often as two plants that fill up a 4'x4' grow space for example. Some growers will keep their intake fan on 24/7 while others will put it on a timer or have some sort of automation built in according to temperature/humidity. If the method you explain has been working for you then you may want to just keep doing that. Hope that helps clarify it a little more.
