Hey all. hey mr grow it
was wondering if I can use tap water in humidifier? Reason I ask is I use distilled water but it costs me a bit. Using tap water Wud be more ideal financially but I red that there’s mineral build up in tap water n will get on tent inside and lights and other stuff. Even build up on leaves n buds slowing down photosynthesis
Thank u I will look this up. is This available in Canada.
Check out r.o. buddy on amazon. I have had my for over a year and its worked great and more than paid for its $60 price.
I was going to use Brita water filters but I emailed them and they told me they take certain minerals out of the water and that they can’t gaurantee calcium removal since it’s not harmful for us to drink What bull on there part What’s this water solution your talking about tho. That’s interesting. Distilled coating me too much. Thanks. MGI
Pure Guardian sells a de-calcification cartridge that helps
It's highly advised NOT to use tap water in humidifiers for the reasons that you specify. Is there an RO water or filtered water solution near by? That's often cheaper than distilled.
I heard that white powered residue is mineral build up like calcium and some others but not from chlorine. Cuz chlorine I can get rid off from tap water but I will look more. Thanks
You can but it’ll cost in other ways down the line tap water has Chlorine and will leave white powered substance on all your fans and other equipment and cause them to go out prematurely and no one likes that 😂🤷♂️
