I see quite a bit plants watered with nutes then regular water a couple times per week.
but I have 5 gallon pots and when I water them, they dont need water for 6 days. Should i not feed them but every other water since they dont dry out quickly? I have fox farms ocean forest with 20% perlite.

It depends. Do you have a TDS tester on hand? Measuring the PPM of the soil runoff will give you an idea of how much nutrients are in the soil and when to feed next.
IMO if it takes 6 days to dry out I would feed them every water.
