Like Mr.G said, its really up to you. If you chop them now with mainly cloudy trikes, you should get more of an energetic heady high. If you wait longer and let them turn amber, you should get more of a couch lock, chill out buzz. Hope this helps. Good Growing.
I just finished some g.g autos and had the same issue. Mine looked almost dry except for a few trichomes for a long time, but I just decided to let it go and see what happened and they did finally fill in. It just took longer than expected. If anything just ride them out and see if you get some later development. Good Growing.
@Mr. Grow It I took a few more pics. Hopefully, these will be able to tell you something. They do seem a little blurry unfortunately. They do look quite cloudy as best I can see. My last grow seemed easier to tell - different strain. As I said end of April is 8 weeks of flowering. Thinking time to switch to just water? and then harvest end of next week? The gnats have been a real pain in the butt this grow for sure. Thanks a lot!!
@Mr. Grow It Hello again. Took some more pics, and they are not so blurry. Roughly a week away from 8 weeks of flower. I started just using proper ph water now. Have a feeling they are getting close. I have 3 plants so the pics are a mix from each. Definitely much more a pleasant smell :) What do you think? As always, thanks a lot!!!
I have not noticed mites but definitely gnats. Thinking a leave trim? Most leaves look yellow... Thoughts? Should the mites be noticeable? Will read the link as well. As always appreciate your time and expertise. This grow has become nightmarish...

I do see some trichomes on there. May just be a pheno that doesn't produce much frost or the problems you are facing is impacting it.
