How long do most people keep their plants in veg? I suppose it depends on grow space and strain. It seems in most of the reading I’ve done, 8 weeks is the average?
It comes down to personal preference. I personally like to yield around 3 oz per plant and grow several different strains. In order to achieve that, I veg for about 30-40 days and go with 3 or 5-gal grow pots. If I want a bigger yield, I will veg longer. When I veg 50-60 days, some strains will yield me 5 or 6+ oz per plant.
