Temperature and airflow are other key factors. If you can keep your temp moderate and maintain some circulation you will probably be ok around 60%. It also matters how dense your plant is. If there are lots of densely packed buds and foliage then you wont get as much airflow through the plant and increase your risk of mildew.
Im having this same problem at the moment. I am in week 5 of flower and my humidity is fluctuating between 50 and 60 percent. I have it closer to 50 the vast majority of the time.
From what i've read and advice i've been told is that as long as you have your other conditions under control very well then you can get away with a higher humidity.
I believe you mainly want to avoid your temps dipping below 60 if your humidity is high as this is an ideal breeding ground for mildew.
I am aiming for 45 percent personally. If you cant hit that then id say just get it as low as you can go, what else can ya do. I think you'll be just fine if you can keep it under 60 consistently. Again this is just my opinion others may have had different outcomes, there are a lot of factors involved.
I've been keeping it Aronnd 55% to 50% rh and my team is steady at 75 Degrees Fahrenheit
