Blue planet, im interested if it's going to cut cost. Anything to cut cost. If Mr.Growit recommends it, I would like to try. Can you guys help a fellow grower out. I'm currently using foxfarm nutrition.
When I was using FF I'd drop $375 an order, switching to blue planet farmers w/ @Mr. Grow It code I spend $182. And I get a free measuring shot glass, sticker, and lighter or pin. I have a collection of glasses 😂😂.
I never had negative issues with it, it just super foamy and for a week or so when I watered plants it would foam and white stuff would be on top of medium and also have scrub and rinse mix bucket a few times or would foam while filling.
I used the dirty dozen for a while until this popular media influencer introduced me to blue planet(😂 @Mr. Grow It ). I still use cha ching but the change saved me a ton in cost.
In my #5 pots I'll run about 15 gallons of ph'd water. Not necessary but I also use yucca on a flush, it breaks down the water molecules so you get through more of the medium. I've used fox farm sledge hammer and hate that foamy residue that sticks around a while.
Not sure on specific suggested amounts or remember where the number in my head came, guessing being 90% of what I watch is @Mr. Grow It videos I may have gotten the 3x from him. Sorry @Mr. Grow It if I'm mistaken😂
I don't know the exact, doubt there is only but individual belief. The common theory is 3 gallons of water to one gallon of medium. I say what works for you is the right way.
Have you been watering low h for a while? If my medium gets low like that I usually flush fairly heavy @ 7.0, then finish with 1/2 dose nutrients at 6.5. next watering I'll check run off again.

@mwhite9829 i just bought the FF Dirty Dozen. Should I disregard the Sledgehammer?
6.0-7.0 in soil. I'm more comfortable in 6.2-6.8 range with 6.5 being the sweet spot.
