@newbie420 I've done that before. Yeah it helps to get more air down in the root zone. Not required though.

with the fox farm ocean forest mix would it be worth buying sum perlite to mix in with it ??

Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-4-8 and some microbes is all u need

I was thinking the fox farm ocean forest because for my next grow im going back to soil with the fox farm notes that I haven't used before so was gonna get there potting mix aswell any tips using fox farm mr g ???
