thanks think i might go to plastic as u say my air pots do attract tiny white fly but in total only had a handful of them during the whole lifecycle and i do it in my garage not in my house so thought it wasnt to bad but was only on the two i had in soil not coco thanks mr g
It's subjective. You may hear fabric pots are better for several reasons such as aeration and air pruning of roots but the downside to fabric pots is it dries out in all directions which isn't natural like in the ground outdoors. Living soil, for example, should be kept moist at all times or else microbes go dormant. So fabric pots isn't a great choice if you're going that route. I use both fabric pots and plastic pots but I will probably mostly use plastic moving forward. I haven't use air pots but I heard they allow pests in much easier.
