When trimming the (dried) buds prior to curing, is it normal to carying on trimming off the leaves right down to and including the sugar leaves, or does one tend to leave these wee sugar leaves on the bud for curing and then vaping? (vaping is the final aim) Many Thanks !

It comes down to personal preference really. Some people will leave the sugar leaves on because they have trichomes on them. Other people will try to trim as much of the leaf off as they can. It's your choice.
It all depends on you. I did some down to the buds and some with some sugar leaves on. My friend gave me crap for those. . . When the stuff is cured the sugar leaves don't seem like they add much. If you are using a dry herb pen than there would be no reason to remove them unless you have a Trim Bin and want to recover some keef.
