@odaglasxela666 The method I use is stick my finger in the top of the soil and if the top inch or so is dry then that's an indication to water. I also lift the grow pot to feel the weight. If the grow pot both feels light and the top inch of the soil is dry, then I water/feed. Sometimes i'll do a water-feed-water-feed and sometimes i'll do a water-water-feed. I always check the PPM of the soil runoff to get an idea of how much nutrients are in the medium. Knowing the PPM makes it a little easier to know when to feed vs water.
