Wow, when you thought you had a clue how weed was grown, then find Mr.Grow It Insta page and now this forum. I’ve since learnt I’ve made many errors with what’s been my first grow attempt.
I basically grew in a plastic pot that has no holes for run off and the soil was just some cheap bag from the local hardware store. I kept this plant in the garage with no real source of light, only feed it tap water and it also never received any nutrient help as I had no idea about nutrients.
Then my eyes were opened when I found the Insta page and YouTube channel. My thirst for knowledge on all things growing has exploded.
This Watermelon Zkittlez plant that I had unknowingly treated so bad up to its first week of flower, is now set up in a spider farmer 2x2 tent kit with all the bells and whistles and sits under a SF1000 light She now is fed nutrients with PH’d water that’s oxygenated 24/7.
With all the mistakes I have made, the buds look alright to me. They are not huge, not like the quality stuff I see here or online, but i’m happy. The flowering stage is such an exciting time. I’m so hooked on growing, that while this plant is finishing up, I have been putting together a 2 pot DWC system (Open for any must know tips) to experiment with next and have plans for a future live soil grow.
