I have a 4x4 tent and I'm only gonna grow 4 plants for now until I get better at it. My 1st choice is the Electric Sky 300 V3 which covers a 4x2 space and once I expand my grow I will get another one to install in the same tent. Watts output are 300W each so will I be Using up 600W when I eventually get both. OR. My 2nd choice is the Growers choice ROI-E680 and uses 680 watts. If I'm incorrect with what I'm saying please let me know. I narrowed my choice's down to these two grow lights. With your expertise which grow lights should I get.

For one, holy moly that leaf is big and beautiful. Thanx guys I will be going with the ES300 V3. I have been going back and forth bc I need to get the right equipment. If I screw up I'll know it wasn't the lights and that, I can fix and change but changing the wrong lights would be too expensive. Once I have my setup together I will definitely send Pic's. Fellas and Creager thank You and Mr. Grow it thank you. Happy Growing Guys! One more question Mr. Grow it, You sent me your Grow lights top choices and I believe you said that I can use these lights (ES300 V3) from seedling phase to Flowering phase. Is that correct? If any one else used this method please let me know.
Tough choice. You can't go wrong with either light as they are both really good. @Creager brings up some really great points. I also like having two lights for that space in order to adjust light distance. One other thing would be the added IR in the spectrum for the Emerson Effect.
This is off ony of my 6mo old mother plant "Pajamas" in my veg room with the shop lights. She is getting cloned tomorrow she has gotten to tall again and has reached the light. I pull this leaf to clear the light it was blocking.
HLG RS600 Will veg a 5x5 and flower a 4x4. I started with one of the DIY Quantum boards then got a 2nd for my closet grows. The 1 light will veg a 5x5 but only flower a 2x4. I order the RS600 and a buddy runs the RS600 scorpion.
He does make a good point about moving seperate lights, but I have the roi-e680 and it rox! I just had to put that out there :)
I was personally stuck at this exact same question for two months trying to figure which route to go. I opted for the ES 300v3's over the ROI-E680 for two main reasons.
1 - Canopy control. Instead of having to build platforms to keep an even canopy with my plants I have 2 separate lights that can be adjusted to fit the growth
2 - Warranty. Green Sunshine Co has a fantastic warranty, and they even let you upgrade your light to the newest version. I think it was only $200 per light if you had the v2's to upgrade to the v3's? No one does that
Not saying anything bad at all about the ROI-E680 they seem like fantastic lights and the huge even spread of the canopy is ideal. This is just the route I personally went when I was at this crossroads
I have a Spider Farmer sf1000 and a Marrs hydro 600w. The sf1000 is super nice. You can adjust the light intensity for each stage of growth. I just harvested 3 gg#4 autos that I had under the sf and the marrs and they seemed to love the lights. I kept them at 18in the hole time and had to issues
