Over time different elements react and drop things out of solution by creating new compounds that sink to the bottom. As the phosphoric acid gets used up the ph creeps back up. You should have to use much less the next time you add it. But you should really only mix up what you need. RO or distilled water will remain more stable but also change. I believe that is related to electric charge though and pure waters reaction with the air.
