Amber who?

@Dr. Ozzy Water is Natural Spring water at 6.2 pH I let it sit for 15 min before using the PPM pen. I do see some amber, they are just coming slow in my unprofessional opinion LOL. some bud sights dont have any amber. Each bud site it different with some clear to cloudy and some cloudy with 2-10 amber trichomes. the last time that I water (6.7pH) was 10/28 I’ll water again tomorrow I stopped the nutrients 9/28 when I did a flush

@Green Thumbellina The water, have you PPM'd it from the bottle to see if it is filtered or RO? I am not sure and am just wondering. I tend to check trichomes from lower down the plant about halfway to get general idea of totality...have to make the call based from somewhere...damn...that's a while between waterings....im sure you are dry....water slowly. That dirt sponge is dry. ...you don't have to wait on lots of amber...I tend to like mostly cloudy...but I wait until a few amber are there to offset the remaining clears..I prefer to not have many clear. But if you want to sit on couch and be STONED, wait for no clear, and try to get 50/50 cloudy/amber....this is when it gets more to personal preference, buuuut, don't blow it by just being impatient...besides...week or 2 of dry, few more weeks of cure....ways to go yet. Excited for you growmie!

@Dr. Ozzy I agree with you. I have waited this long, a few more weeks in flower won’t hurt. So it looks like it will be a cloudy Christmas 🤷🏽‍♀️😆

And since I have two different plants I can decide to cut one early and leave the other to experiment with degree of Highness🤔

You are right, I don’t want water sitting. But when checking PPM I have to take the plants out of the tent, I don’t want to have to do that either (move the scrog net). So I was just asking if anyone had any tips on checking PPM without removing the plants from the tent and getting rid of the water. At this stage, I am watering once a week. I can tell it dry by using my finger and lifting the bags.

I guess it won’t hurt them or stress them out to bad since I’ve only checked PPM three times during this grow. And like I said earlier this will be my last time to check it.

I’ll try and get a better shot of the trichomes this evening.

@TnA Homegrown thanks. I read some earlier posts (8/2020) and Mr G and others said it was subjective. So, I’ll take them out of the tent to test PPM if that is good I’ll chop when soil is dry. I am so ready😁
