Hello everyone,
I'm a computer scientist with interests in horticulture. Naturally, I'd like to combine the two but first I want to gauge interest before I spend time on something no one is going to use, or worse, finds difficult to use.
My idea is to create an multi-platform application that will allow you to scientifically track your progress easily, efficiently and if required, securely. I could make the application for any platform desired but I'll likely try to stick with PC and Android. If you have any interest in this sort of thing, let me know. If you have any ideas or interest in beta testing I would love to hear from you. The plan is to make the application free for mobile but with non-intrusive ad support because we all need to live and to perhaps sell the PC version for a low fee, probably 5$ or less. If I end up doing a paid pro/ad-free version it will also be aimed at <$5 USD.
Thanks for taking the time to read, I hope to hear some feedback soon. If you would like to contact me directly that's fine but I'd prefer it be on a secure app like wickr.
I would also like to thank Mr. Grow It for sharing his incredible level of expertise with me.
Welcome to the forum! So would this be similar to Grow Diaries or any of the other growth progress apps/websites?
