First time grower. First, I know they are pretty leggy. I had them under the GE PAR38 light first which they kept getting taller despite it being 6". I moved them to the tent with my TSW2000 and I put it at the recommended 30" 25% power but they kept getting taller, so I slowly moved it and it's currently at 24" and 40% power.
Came home from work and the staked baby had fallen over and leaves were facing straight up. I think it just collapsed under weight of leaves but I'm not sure. It looked like the closer one might do the same. I have a fan blowing on them and I rotate them each morning so it blows on different parts each day. Any advice?
Should I stake all of them? I'm tempted to transplant them into the 5 gallon pots early to bury the steps, opinions? Thanks so much in advance!
Read me details: Strawberry lemonade. Seedling. Soil Ocean Forest. 4x4 tent. TSW2000 light. Temp has been 70-75. Humidity ~45... humidifier running 24/7 on low. Watered once early when germinating and just yesterday second time because cups felt light.
I put seedlings on the back side of the fan
Photos. I suppose I could try to rebound the fan. I do have it blowing on them directly in an attempt to strengthen the leggy stems. It's the hurricane clip on fan, so although it's on low, it still seems strong.
I couldn't find an oscillating clip fan with good reviews but maybe I'll get a floor one and keep the hurricane for the canopy.
I would angle your fan more so it's not blowing on them directly, or rebounding off something and hitting the sprouts. They're leaning like they're being blown over.
Are they photo's or auto's? If photo's I wouldn't transplant too early. Without an established root zone they could fail.
