When you boil water it leaves heavy elements behind and the steam that comes off is the pure water you would want. Unless you have a distilling apparatus you have no way to collect that steam properly. You can buy an ro filter for about 60 usd if you want the best starting water. You can also get something like a boogybrew filter to just break up the chlorine in tap water.
