Bringing down temperature

It's basically the optimal humidity according to temperature but it's more of an advanced technique since there is risk running the high humidity levels that it calls for. Humidity will adjust depending on what stage the plant is in. In Veg, a safe humidity is 50-60%. In flower, some growers like to go down a bit to 40-55%. If you go over 60% and lack proper airflow, you are at risk of powdery mildew. Therefore, I don't suggest beginners to run above 60% humidity. The wattage of your grow light doesn't determine what the temperature and humidity should be. Wattage is just a measure of energy consumption which you can use to calculate your electricity bill. The type of light will help determine temperature. For HID fixtures (HPS, MH, CMH), the range I recommend is 70-80°F/21-26°C . For LED fixtures, the range I recommend is 70-85°F/21-29°C. The reason why I recommend a slightly higher temperature for LED fixtures comes down to the leaf surface temperature.
