Just a quick question about when the plants grow above (and beyond) the grow light in a grow tent (ok, yep my grow tent could be a bit taller....) -
Should I include those buds from the parts of the plant that grew above the growtent lights, as part of the harvest - they have trichomes, but the leaves there died back earlier than the rest of the plant prior to harvest (so physically they look a bit different to the rest of the harvest); or should I just try them when they are cured and see......?

They should still be good. The plant sends energy everywhere. Those buds wouldn't have as much chlorophyll since they weren't photosynthesizing much.
They should still be good. Ironically they would cure a little faster because of that.
