I flushed the system and recalibrated my ph pen and the ph will still go from 6.0 in the morning, when I get home it would be 5.2, anyone know what might be causing this?
I'd just move it to some place the roots don't cover it up as much and see what happens. You are supposed to lubricate the pistons of some airpumps. If you don't they can bind up and have reduced airflow. Do you have a plastic muffler on the pump?
I readjusted the air stones. I’ll give an update in the next couple of days to see how they turn out. really do appreciate the help you guys been given me.
Did you see my comment to angybirds first comment? Not sure if only he got the notification maybe.
Bonus fact. The bubbles aren't actually what oxygenates the water. They only add oxygen to the water when they break the surface tension and pop. Looks like they are just getting lost in the root mass and not popping. You'd be better off moving it to the side of the bucket or adding a flume to the system if you don't have one.
What do your roots look like ? Those plants look like mine when i got root rot...
Usually my ph drifts upwards. I'll start at 5.5 in the morning and at 6pm it's over 6.0... the only time I had ph drift the opposite direction was when root rot set in. If your roots are brown and slimey then that's your issue.
Same strain? I would move it personally. Just a suggestion. Ultimately it's your decision. Are there any other major changes between this grow and the last one?
6 plants 3 strains, where would you prefer the air stones to be. I didn’t have any problems last grow during veg, so I’m really stunned on what’s causing the plants to act like this. Seems like they are getting worse and worse everyday. I cleaned the whole system before started this grow. I’m at week 5 and they just recently started to look like this, hopefully after this Flush and getting a stronger air pump they will comeback alive.
