Plant is only 3 weeks old and looking good, but I noticed what appears to be some clawing on the upper leaves. Temp is only at 76-77 and light is 30” away. Could it be a little nitrogen toxicity? Using Dr. Earth 4-4-4 dry fertilizer in NFTG #4 soil.
Does the drooping look like underwater or overwater? Since I recently went to a 3 gallon pot from a solo cup, I'm not sure as the bottom of the pot is wet but the roots probably aren't down there yet. The top of the soil is dry..
I would not recommend baking your soil. That is an old out of date method. Doing that will kill any anaerobic bacteria you have but, it will also kill aerobic bacteria and that is the bacteria you want. Without microbes your plants will not eat anything. They break the nutrient molecules down to ionic form which the plant can uptake. Just some help. Good Growing!
Yup clawing from nitrogen toxicity. It doesn't look like the leaves are excessively dark though so that's a good thing. I would just water the next few times and see how it looks from there. Should be fine.

Looks like the clawing got worse? Just curious, did you amend the 4-4-4 fertilizer in with the NFTG #4 soil prior to planting?
