I pH the water before adding anything, then add whatever I'm going to add, then brew.

Ya that is true, molasses has more of a acidic ph between 5-6 so it will bring your ph down slightly but it depends on the ph of your water.

yes you should check the ph of every feeding

I believe so, specifically before you “feed” it so the microbes in your soil stay flourishing
