Hello everyone, So I went ahead and bought the Apera PC60 5 in 1 meter. I have calibrated it twice now and it's reading my ppt at 1.82. Google says to multiply the ppt by 1000 to get the ppm.. wt..f how in the hell did I get 1820 ppm's in my soil?
I'm in week 3 of veg, using ffof, haven't applied nutes yet. I have been using mycorrhizae throughout the grow and last week I started the Cal-Mag regiment.
In 4 days I will be starting nutes, so I absolutely need to sort out this ppm/ppt issue.
Suggestions and advice please.

The plants look good. I do see what looks to be wind burn on one of the plants (closest to fan). Other than that they look good. You can continue to check the runoff PPM and you'll probably need to feed in the next 10-14 days or so. Nice job so far.
Hey thanks Shaw, I appreciate the insight. I figured I'd grow a few cycles before trying out auto's. Yeah I had just watered them about 15 minutes before going postal about my ppm lol. The back left went through some root shock about 10 days ago. I shoved that stake into her soil and hit an artery... she's been sad ever since.
This is my 2nd grow, but my 1st real set up. I've had those "surprise" seeds since last fall, so I figured "why not"... lil bastards have gone through hell, but I'm learning haha..
and if they grow nuts, it's all good cuz I have my eye on some skywalker og seeds.
well hopefully there fem seeds, it'd b a shame to put all the time & effort to find nuts on them . autos aren't really diff in growing they just have a shorter veg time & if there's problems will effect yield .but you can try allot of diff strains quicker . usually 1 1/2 - 2 oz per plant on autos is what i can get . if you do ever try autos lst them, don't top . less shock & better yields, the one on the far left looks like may be over watered along with the one up front with the leaves at the bottom. don't forget to check runoff ph. remember there still just a weed & all we can do is do our best with what we have. happy grow bro
@shaw076 Yeah I read up on how auto's can be a pain in the ass, so yeah I'm running photos. Not sure of the strains, the seeds were given to me. I'm growing 3 trees in a 3x3. The plants are 45 days old. I started feeding Cal-Mag last Monday. For nutes I'm using General Hydroponics 3 part (micro, flora, and bloom).
I have a retarded plant in the back, which has had a hard rough life, so I'm kinda forced into vegging for another 3 weeks, so the retard can catch up. I'll post a pic in a minute.
She's actually the happiest plant I have. I'll just wait and observe. Thanks again for the ff advice.

lol thanks .. I almost broke that meter into 2 pieces. Ok, so if the ppm is that high, how long you figure I should wait to start adding nutes? I know that's a loaded question. I'm on day 28 in the soil. I was going to feed them 1/4 of dosage, see how they react.

fox farm soil has nutes in it 1800 isnt crazy . take a deep breath it'll all be alright . lol
