Hello all I heard that it’s not good to have a humidifier in tent to bring rh up ? I heard that it’s a chance for mold that it’s better to have humidifier in lung room or just outside tent ? But I beleieve I saw me grow it with one in tent to get good rub for dry ?
Anyone care to Chim in or whether shud have in tent for optimal rh ?
I have a fan that turns on every hour for 15 minutes to exchange the air. Humidifier inside set at 60. Working for me so far
Well an environment with high humidity AND stagnant air could lead to mold - for sure. The key is air circulation and exchange. I currently like 60% RH in my dry tent. I always open the tent at least once a day and change the air. Some actually use an intake fan for air exchange.
Let's see if MGI gives a definite answer but if you have a fan in the tent circulating the air, it would seem ok to have it in tent...having humidifier just outside with a little booster fan drawing in the air seems also do-able...just adds the fan. I am just not sure if there is a "definite" rule...what I have read is don't put fan right on the buds just circulate the tent. And maintain the 60% target as much as possible.
There go. Consider "chimes" rung-
