What i tend to do is turn the plant(12/12) in first 3 weeks plant grows with in about 30 cm from light .(perfect sky cob).i'm thinking the par is way over the top. From all the you tube video i see LED's are all a good 60-90 cm away.(i will give you a running down on the rest later, have to go to work)
Would growing outside your PPFD range 600-900 (without co2) for flowering make the flowers small. ( thumb size, not coke can size like we all like) Thinking of buying a par Meter.
Yes. I'm not much of a fan of the gram per watt measurement. But it is the only thing i have to gauge LED lights. ( i should have started off by saying, I've grown for 20-25 yrs now so most of the other factors I have right). it's just the change to LED which is stumping me. ie other Factors. room temp keep with in 10 deg day to night . water temp not to cold or hot . air flow. bugs, root rot , animals.
so with the optic 6 i have seen a few growers now say 1.5 gm per watt(600 watt led). Putting a bit of basic math to work, that comes to 900 gm. (thank you math teacher. he told me i would need it one day. LOL). Would the es 300s *2 do better ?
I'm happy with it. I personally believe in the McCree curve and the added IR that the ES300 has. I've had two harvests so far - using two of them. I'll link some videos below so you can see plants grown under them. If you end up getting it, I do have a discount code-> MRGROWITThe plants in the below video were all flowered under two ES300's. Keep in mind that genetics will greatly impact growth.
Below video- Hitgirl, Cotton Candy, Lemon Skunk, and Titans Breath were grown directly under two ES300's and the Brisker OG got some side lighting from it as well.

Yes I have two ES180 and they are Phenomenal
The optic 6 is very similar to the Perfect sun cob.
so this is the problem 1 optic 6 led or 2 electric skies, are the skies worth the extra money.
