Anybody use the electric sky v3? Id love to hear people that have had harvest with it please any info on how you thought the light preformed would be great thank you!!
I am on my 5th grow. Awesome all the way and lives up to the light spectrum, coverage, and energy costs that I was seeking. They replaced my ES300 V3 that had a couple of diodes out with a new one. I continued to use my old one until they shipped me a new one. Unbelievable and thankful not to interrupt my crop. Free shipping, but had to take it to UPS.
I have one harvest with the ES300 V3 and ES180 V3. They are a lot more powerful than previous versions. Check out the PAR chart they posted up to help get a general idea of light distance. You may even want to go a bit further than recommended to safe side it. The dimmer showing what it can be set at for different stages of growth is helpful too.
I have 2- have grown out 4 or 5 runs now with Autos. About to put Photos under one for first time later this month. Per the couple of times I talked to the GSC on phone- (for my 180's) advised trying with no dimmer. That opens up the spectrum. My usage has been 24-30" until buds start building, then I drop 1-2" every few days until I have been running for last 3 ish weeks 12-15" above canopy-

I like mine a lot. Fan recommended positioned to blow on top of unit-
Lots of lighting options out there. Electric Sky is a solid choice. 180 or 300. I running 180's in a 2 x 4- a 300 will fit but is not absolutely necessary. I am not chasing yield, but quality. They are efficient as all get out. I do not "light nerd". It's ridiculous what some go into about it all. I am a small gardener, a couple of small tents in a small dwelling. I bring enough life experience before gardening to differentiate between basic "crap" and basic "quality" and while the internet and youtube is loaded with mostly confusing, crappy info, some legit info is available. Service after the sale is important. GSC has it.
I liked the basic operation of it. No bluetooth, spectrum dialing, supplement with some other gizmo craziness- just a basic hang it and grow fixture. It does lend itself to what was advised by calling the company- no dimmer and control your plants via distance of usage. There will be no set distance as each cultivar is going to react differently and that is the beauty of learning to "read your plants", not a meter- That's where I am at with it anyway-
